  • Will you be managing the project and do you have others who work with you?
    Yes we will manage all projects that we have been contracted to complete. We have several different suppliers and sub contractors that assist us throughout the construction process.
  • How long will the project take to complete?
    Project time can vary depending on the project. While living in a construction zone can be strenuous, rushing can provide a less than stellar final product. We strive hard to give you a realistic time frame to complete your project from the beginning. We also stay in contact with our customers throughout the process to give them all updates.
  • How much will the project cost?
    Pricing can vary. Give us a call to set up an estimate. Just remember, if the price is too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.
  • Where can I use decorative , stamped, or architectural concrete?
    Anywhere! Geneva Concrete & Epoxy specializes in complex designs. You can place decorative concrete in your backyard, front yard, or even indoors. We can create patios, architectural steps, planters, driveways and more. If you can dream it, we can build it.
  • Where can I use epoxy or polyspartic coatings?
    Using the best epoxy flooring products available on the market will ensure the best result and epoxy vapor barrier and moisture blocking epoxy primers are no different. Depending on the project, our professionals can apply a range of vapor barriers to suit any concrete subfloor, residential, commercial, or industrial. This allows us as contractors to place epoxy and polyspartic coatings virtually anywhere that is flat - floors, patios, walkways, walls, sills, and much more!
  • Will new concrete crack?
    YES! And that is ok. All concrete inevitably cracks. But Geneva Concrete & Epoxy places all our concrete on a standard bed of compacted gravel, provides and places rebar throughout, and carefully place control joints to help guide the cracks. Our concrete will be structurally stable. Depending on your finish, we can minimize the appearance of superficial cracks that occur. There are also options for repairing cracks in concrete farther down the line.
  • Where can I use cementitious overlays and concrete top coatings?
    Anywhere! Geneva Concrete & Epoxy specializes in intricate designs. Whether it's your backyard, front yard, or even indoors, we can apply cementitious overlays or concrete top coatings. Our expertise extends to repairing and restoring patios, architectural steps, planters, driveways, and more. If you have a vision, we have the skills to bring it to life.
  • What kind of maintenance is required with concrete?
    Routine maintenance sealing is recommended at least every two years, especially in Canada. You can extend the life of your new concrete with periodic cleaning and sealing. If you have existing concrete that isn’t on a routine maintenance schedule, it’s not too late. We can bring life to your existing concrete through our process' and expertise.
  • What is your schedule like? How soon can you start my project?
    Our schedule fluctates depending on the time of the year and how busy we are. Please contact us today to book your upcoming project, and discuss the openings in our schedule. Please note that It is always best to reach out to us in advance of your project to allow us some time to fit you into our revolving schedule.
  • Will you need to obtain permits for my project?
    We CANNOT obtain permits for any location that we do not own. Clients and landowners must contact and apply through their local municpality to find out the procedures and the requirements for each project. If you need any assistance with this process, please contact us and we will be happy to direct you.
  • Will you be reinforcing the concrete with rebar?
    We enforce ALL concrete with rebar as specified by the engineer, or as required. The spacing, thickness, and strength of the rebar is dependant on the concrete strength, concrete usage, and engineering standards in the area. Geneva Concrete & Epoxy is familiar with every type of rebar including steel, fibreglass, epoxy coated, and welded wire mesh.

  • Do you have a warranty?
    Yes, we provide a warranty for our concrete products for up to two years and our epoxy products for up to five years. If any issues arise in the future, we urge clients to contact us. We are knowledgeable about the products we offer and can guide you through the most effective steps to resolve and repair any problems that may occur.
  • How much experience do you have?
    We have over 20 years of combined experience working in both civil and concrete construction.
  • What types of projects have you done before?
    We have worked on residential, commercial, and instrustrial size projects ranging from 50 square feet to over 10,000 square feet. We have completed and placed all types of concrete construction including architectural and decorative concrete, structural concrete for foundations and slabs, pool coping and transition concrete, concrete for ciasson and water management, shotcrete, high strenth concrete, and much more!
